Monica Pareschi is an editor, writer and a translator into Italian. She has translated, among others, Paul Auster, Shirley Jackson, James Ballard, Muriel Spark and Charlotte and Emily Brontë into Italian. In 2014 she won the Premio Renato Fucino for her novel E’ di vetro quest’aria. Her day job is teaching various courses on translation and editing. Recently in 2020, she received the Premio Gregor von Rezzori for her translation of Wuthering Heights by Emily Brontë. She lives in Milan with her son Enthry.
